komedoneja
Komedo, often referred to as blackheads or whiteheads, are a common form of acne. They occur when a hair follicle becomes clogged with sebum (oil) and dead skin cells. If the pore remains open to the air, the trapped sebum and skin cells oxidize and turn black, creating a blackhead. If the pore becomes completely blocked, a whitehead forms, which appears as a small, white or flesh-colored bump.
Comedones are not caused by dirt, despite the common misconception that blackheads are a result of unclean
While comedones are generally not painful or inflamed, they can be a precursor to more severe acne
