Kangrukeeles is a constructed language associated with the fictional Kangru region in worldbuilding and linguistic research. It was created for speculative fiction and academic exercises by linguist Mara Kivisild, with first published sketches appearing in 2010. The language has been revised to refine its phonology, grammar, and orthography.

Phonology and writing: Kangrukeeles has a moderate consonant inventory and a five-vowel system, including vowel length and, in some dialects, tone marked by diacritics. The writing system is Latin-based with diacritics to indicate length and stress.

Grammar: It is described as predominantly agglutinative, with affixes indicating case, aspect, mood, and number. The typical word order is subject–object–verb, and nouns take postnominal modifiers.

Lexicon and usage: Core terms relate to agriculture, kinship, and landscape of the imagined homeland, with extensions in ritual and storytelling. Borrowings from neighboring fictional languages appear in technical vocabulary.

Status: Kangrukeeles has a small but active community of learners who publish dictionaries, grammars, and short texts. It is used in writing exercises, role-playing contexts, and linguistic demonstrations, with online resources and periodic informal conferences.
