kandumine
Kandumine is a term used in speculative anthropology and world-building to describe a ritual of alliance-building observed in the fictional Northern Reach. The name is said to come from the Eldaran language, where kandum means "to bind" and -ine is a nominal suffix. In the traditional account, kandumine formalizes truces or treaties between rival clans through symbolic exchange and oath-taking.
The ceremony typically unfolds during a central gathering. Delegates select from each clan a kandum emissary
Variations exist: some communities require the presence of a neutral mediator, others incorporate songs or dances,
Note: Kandumine is a fictional construct for world-building and speculative anthropology. It is not a real-world
