kaasuläpällä
Kaasuläppä, often referred to as a throttle valve in English, is a crucial component in internal combustion engines. Its primary function is to regulate the amount of air that enters the engine's intake manifold, thereby controlling the engine's power output and speed. The driver operates the kaasuläppä through the accelerator pedal. When the pedal is pressed, it opens the kaasuläppä, allowing more air to flow into the engine. This increased airflow then mixes with fuel, leading to a more powerful combustion and thus higher engine speed and power. Conversely, when the accelerator pedal is released, the kaasuläppä closes, restricting airflow and reducing engine power and speed.
In modern vehicles, the kaasuläppä is typically electronically controlled, known as an electronic throttle control (ETC)
