Kõneoptsioon, often translated as "voice option" or "speech option," refers to a type of financial derivative, specifically an option contract, that is linked to the future price of a currency or other financial instrument. Unlike standard options which give the holder the right to buy or sell an underlying asset at a specified price, kõneoptsioon specifically grants the holder the right, but not the obligation, to buy the underlying asset at a predetermined price, known as the strike price, on or before a specified expiration date. This right is exercised if the market price of the underlying asset rises above the strike price, allowing the holder to purchase the asset at the lower strike price and potentially profit from the difference.
