kõdudes
Kõdudes is a term used in Estonian folklore and mythology, often associated with spirits or entities connected to decay, death, or the fading of things. While not a universally defined figure, "kõdudes" generally refers to a spectral presence that embodies the process of decomposition or the lingering essence of what has passed. These entities are not typically depicted as malevolent in the traditional sense of demons or monsters, but rather as natural manifestations of inevitable cycles. They might be encountered in liminal spaces, such as old forests, abandoned buildings, or during twilight hours, places where boundaries between the living and the spirit world are perceived to be thin.
The concept of "kõdudes" can be seen as a personification of natural decay and the ephemeral nature
