järeldamisel

Järeldamisel is the process of deriving conclusions from information, evidence, or premises. It is a central concept in logic, philosophy, science, and everyday reasoning. In Estonian, järeldamisel is used as a noun in the inessive case to describe the activity of inferring or drawing conclusions.

There are several forms of järeldamine. Deduktiivne järeldamine (deductive reasoning) derives a conclusion that follows necessarily from true premises if the argumentative form is valid. Induktiivne järeldamine (inductive reasoning) generalizes from observed instances to broader conclusions, with strength depending on the evidence and sample size.
