Jännitejakutaulut, often translated as voltage divider circuits, are fundamental electronic circuits designed to produce an output voltage that is a fraction of the input voltage. They are typically constructed using two or more resistors connected in series across a voltage source. The output voltage is then taken across one of these resistors. The ratio of the output voltage to the input voltage is determined by the ratio of the resistance values in the circuit.

The simplest form of a jännitejakutaulu uses two resistors, R1 and R2, connected in series to a voltage source Vin. If the output voltage Vout is taken across R2, then the relationship is given by the formula Vout = Vin * (R2 / (R1 + R2)).
