Iseliimuvad is Estonian term used to describe materials or products that have a self-contained adhesive layer, enabling them to bond to surfaces without the need for separate glue. The word combines isel- meaning self and liimuv meaning adhesive or sticky, and it is applied to items whose bonding is activated by pressure.

In practice, iseliimuvad items consist of a backing substrate such as paper, plastic film, or foil, coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and protected by a release liner that is peeled away before use. When the liner is removed and the item is pressed onto a surface, the adhesive forms a bond with minor hand pressure and without heat or wet glue.

Common examples include self-adhesive labels and stickers, tapes, and other graphic or craft materials that do not require separate adhesive to be applied. The technology is typical of the packaging, labeling, and stationery industries, where convenience and clean handling are important.

Adhesive characteristics are central to iseliimuvad materials. The adhesives are usually pressure-sensitive and based on acrylic or rubber chemistries, chosen for properties such as tack, peel strength, temperature and humidity resistance, and aging.
