ionisaatori
An ionisaatori, or ionizer, is a device that uses high voltage to create a corona discharge, which ionizes the air. This process generates negative ions and positive ions. In air purification, ionizers are often employed to remove airborne particles. The charged ions can attach themselves to particles like dust, pollen, and smoke, making them heavier and causing them to fall out of the air or become attracted to oppositely charged surfaces within the device or in the room.
Some ionizers are designed to produce a net negative charge, aiming to attract positively charged particles.
A potential byproduct of some ionization processes is ozone. While ozone can have some air-sanitizing properties
