introduzais

Introduzais is a Portuguese verb form derived from introduzir (to introduce). It is the present subjunctive, second-person plural (vós) in European Portuguese. This form is used in subordinate clauses after verbs of doubt, desire, necessity, or emotion, and appears in formal, literary, or religious texts. In contemporary Brazilian Portuguese, where the pronoun vós is rarely used, the corresponding present subjunctive for vocês is introduzam.

Grammatical function and usage: introduzais expresses a non-factual or hypothetical action in relation to a “you plural” subject, as in clauses with verbs of wishing, fearing, or recommending. It is typical of traditional or formal registers and is often found in older literature or formal instruction manuals. In everyday speech, speakers who do not use vós typically replace it with the vosotros-equivalent or switch to the third-person plural forms with vocês.
