Inductionsealed is a term used to describe products or packaging that have been sealed by an induction-sealing process. Induction sealing uses a heat-sealable liner formed from aluminum foil laminated to a polymer, placed under a closure. When the cap is tightened onto a container, an induction sealer generates a localized magnetic field at the cap, causing the polymer layer to melt and form a tight, hermetic, and tamper-evident seal to the container mouth.
