impalcature

Impalcature is a temporary framework used in construction, maintenance, and repair work to provide access to elevated areas and to support workers, tools, and materials. It is designed to be assembled, disassembled, and repositioned as the project advances, and its primary goal is to improve safety and efficiency when working at height. Impalcature can take several forms, but all share the common function of creating a stable working platform above ground level.

Most impalcatura consists of vertical uprights (standards), horizontal ledgers and transoms, diagonal braces for stability, and

Common configurations include supported scaffolds, which rest on the ground or structure; suspended scaffolds that hang
