It also supports alignment with international standards and frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals, GRI, SASB, and IRIS+.

Applications of Impactan cover project design, environmental impact assessments, social impact monitoring, and funder or regulator reporting. It is used to compare alternatives, manage risks, and document outcomes for accountability and learning.
