Idzakaiban is a small rural municipality located in the eastern part of Tottori Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1948 from the merger of several hamlets along the Takeda River, the town covers an area of roughly 48 square kilometres and has a population of around 4,200 residents as of the latest census. The local economy is primarily agrarian, with rice, soybean, and mountain vegetable cultivation forming the backbone of its agricultural output.
