iMindMap is a mind-mapping software developed by ThinkBuzan, a company associated with Tony Buzan’s approach to graphic organizers. First released in the mid-2000s, it provides a central idea with branches extending outward and supports embedding images, icons, and hyperlinks to enrich maps. The program is designed to help users organize ideas, plan projects, and present information visually.

iMindMap includes several distinctive views and tools. A zoomable canvas and a 3D perspective offer a dynamic way to present maps. Focus Mode helps reduce distractions by simplifying the workspace, while Brainstorm Mode supports rapid idea capture. A presentation mode enables maps to be shown as slides to others during meetings.

Platform and formats: iMindMap runs on Windows and macOS. It exports maps to common formats such as PDF and image files, and can generate slide decks for presentations.

History and status: The iMindMap product line is part of ThinkBuzan’s broader mind-mapping portfolio. In later years, the branding and product strategy shifted toward Ayoa, a platform that extends mind mapping with collaboration and task-management features. iMindMap has been maintained as a legacy product with continued support for existing licenses and users.
