A medical history and physical examination are also conducted to identify potential contributing factors. Treatment depends entirely on the identified cause. If an obstruction is present, surgical intervention might be considered. Hormonal imbalances can be addressed with hormone replacement therapy. Lifestyle modifications, such as ensuring adequate hydration and managing psychological stress, may also be recommended. In cases where hypospermia is a symptom of a treatable underlying condition, addressing that condition can often resolve the low ejaculate volume.
