Hörnfrisparkar, often translated as corner kicks in English, are a method of restarting play in association football. They are awarded when the entire ball, having last been touched by a player of the defending team, passes over the goal line, either on the ground or in the air, and no goal is scored. The ball must cross the goal line outside of the goalposts.

The corner kick is taken from within the corner arc located at the nearest corner flag. The attacking team's player places the ball inside this arc and kicks it into play. Opposing players must remain at least 10 yards (9.15 meters) from the corner arc until the ball is kicked. The ball is in play once it is kicked and clearly moves.

Corner kicks are a significant attacking opportunity in football. Teams often practice specific set-piece routines to maximize their chances of scoring from a corner. These can involve various types of deliveries, such as inswingers, outswingers, or lofted balls, aimed at players making runs into the penalty area. Defenders often position themselves to clear the ball or mark attacking players closely to prevent them from getting a clear shot on goal. A goal can be scored directly from a corner kick, but only against the opposing team. If the ball goes directly into the kicker's own net, a corner kick is awarded to the opposing team.
