hälsoforskning

Hälsoforskning, or health research, is a multidisciplinary field devoted to understanding health, disease and healthcare in order to promote health, prevent illness, and improve medical care and health systems. The field spans basic biomedical research, translational research aimed at applying findings to patient care, clinical research including trials, as well as epidemiology, public health, health services research and health technology assessment. It also includes social and behavioral sciences that address determinants of health, health behaviors, and health equity.
