Häirekeskus is the national emergency dispatch center of Estonia. It handles calls to the emergency number 112 and coordinates the response of emergency services across the country. The center operates as part of the Estonian Rescue Board (Päästeamet), which is under the Ministry of the Interior.

The center operates 24/7, receiving, assessing, and triaging calls, determining location, and dispatching appropriate responders, including emergency medical services, fire and rescue, and police when needed. It can provide pre-arrival guidance, such as CPR instructions or basic first aid over the phone.

It uses computer-aided dispatch systems and integrated communications networks to manage incidents, monitor unit availability, and coordinate with regional rescue services, hospitals, and other authorities. It maintains procedures for incident management and data security, and records statistics on response times and outcomes.

As the national hub for emergency communications, Häirekeskus plays a central role in public safety, rapid response coordination, and cross-border collaboration within the European emergency services framework.
