It has also been associated with mood disorders like bipolar disorder, particularly during manic or hypomanic episodes, where increased energy and racing thoughts can translate into a heightened drive to express oneself through writing. Additionally, some creative individuals, such as artists or writers, might exhibit tendencies that could be described as hypergraphia, though in these cases, it is often viewed as a characteristic of their creative process rather than a disorder.
