hydrocolds
A hydrocold is a term sometimes used informally to describe a type of acute respiratory illness. It is not a recognized medical diagnosis by professional health organizations. The term is often used interchangeably with the common cold or other upper respiratory infections. These illnesses are typically caused by viruses. Symptoms commonly associated with what people might call a hydrocold include a runny nose, sore throat, cough, sneezing, and general malaise. Fever may also be present. Transmission of these viruses occurs through respiratory droplets expelled when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks.
