Humanistit are the Finnish term for humanists—people who identify with or advocate humanism, a philosophy stressing human dignity, rational inquiry, and ethical living guided by empathy and human rights. In broader usage, a humanist can be a scholar of the humanities, a writer, or a civic thinker who prioritizes education, culture, and critical thinking.
