This method allows drivers to replenish a significant portion of their vehicle's battery capacity in a much shorter time compared to slower charging methods.

The technology behind gyorstölt typically involves high-power direct current (DC) chargers. These chargers bypass the vehicle's onboard charger, which usually converts AC power to DC, and directly supply DC power to the battery. This direct supply allows for significantly higher charging rates, often measured in kilowatts (kW).
