Guruhlash is a term used in Uzbek to describe the process of organizing items, people, or data into distinct groups based on shared features or criteria. The word derives from guruh, meaning group, with the suffix -lash forming a verb meaning to make into groups.

In education and workplaces, guruhlash is common for collaborative work or instruction, such as forming student teams, study groups, or work squads. In research and statistics, it refers to methods of dividing a population or sample into subgroups to improve analysis, balance representation, or tailor interventions. In data science, the concept corresponds to clustering, a technique that groups similar observations without predefined labels.

Methods of grouping vary. Random grouping assigns individuals to groups without regard to characteristics.
