Græskkors is the Icelandic term for the Greek cross, a Christian cross consisting of four arms of equal length that meet at the center. Unlike the Latin cross, where the vertical arm is longer, the Greek cross emphasizes symmetry and balance.

In Christian art and architecture, the Greek cross is a common motif. It has been used since late antiquity and is especially associated with Byzantine and Eastern Orthodox traditions. The form appears in liturgical objects, manuscript illumination, and church decoration, and in the plan of central or cruciform churches where the arms form a square around a central dome or sanctuary.
