Grupacije is a term used in Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin to denote organized groups or coalitions of people or entities formed around common goals, interests, identities, or tasks. The word is the plural of grupacija, built from the root grupa (group) with a suffix that marks the formation of an affiliation or grouping. In political contexts, grupacije often refer to factions within a party, parliamentary caucuses, or broad coalitions assembled to pursue shared policy aims. In sociology and anthropology, the term describes informal or formal social groupings that arise from shared activities, occupations, or social identities; these can be short-term alliances or longer-lasting associations.

In organizational and security contexts, grupacije can designate structured groups such as professional associations, coalitions for action, or, in criminology and security discourse, organized groups with coordinated activity. Key characteristics include a shared purpose, membership, leadership or coordinating bodies, rules or norms, and a degree of collective action. Group dynamics, such as competition for influence, alignment with external actors, or internal conflicts, can shape decision-making and public outcomes.
