Gazdagításként is a Hungarian adverb that denotes a role or purpose: it indicates that a particular process or step is used for enrichment. The noun gazdagítás refers to enrichment or beneficiation, and gazdagításként translates roughly to “as enrichment” or “for enrichment purposes.” The term appears mainly in technical or scientific language, especially in mining/metallurgy and microbiology, but can be used in other contexts where selective concentration is intended.

In mining and mineral processing, gazdagítás means ore beneficiation—the set of processes that increase the proportion of valuable minerals in a material by removing gangue. The goal is to produce a concentrate with a higher metal content than the feed ore.
