In food technology, gazdagítás refers to fortification or enrichment of foods with vitamins, minerals, or other nutrients to improve nutritional value or address deficiencies. Examples include adding iodine to salt, vitamin fortification in cereals, or calcium enrichment in dairy products.

In microbiology, gazdagítás describes an enrichment culture technique.
