Galliumenriched, often written galliumenriched or gallium-enriched, is a descriptive term applied to materials that contain higher than standard amounts of gallium (Ga). It is not a formal mineral class but a label used for ores, alloys, and compounds in which gallium is a dominant or significantly increased component relative to typical compositions.

Natural occurrence and production rely on gallium’s geochemistry and industrial byproducts. Gallium is relatively rare in the Earth's crust and is mostly recovered as a byproduct during the processing of aluminum-containing bauxite and certain zinc ores. Enrichment in these contexts is achieved through hydrometallurgical steps, solvent extraction, and other separation methods to concentrate gallium prior to refining into metallic Ga or Ga-containing compounds. In engineered materials, gallium enrichment is achieved by alloying or chemical synthesis to raise the Ga fraction, as seen in gallium-rich alloys or Ga-containing semiconductors such as GaAs and GaN.

Common forms of gallium-enriched materials include gallium-rich alloys, such as the Galinstan family (a Ga–In–Sn eutectic that is liquid at room temperature), and gallium-containing semiconductors where gallium is a major constituent. These materials exhibit properties influenced by gallium, including distinctive electronic and optical characteristics, relatively low melting points for alloys, and specific chemical reactivity.

Production and enrichment techniques involve solvent extraction, ion exchange, electrorefining, and selective precipitation to separate gallium from other elements, followed by purification steps. Environmental and regulatory considerations apply to gallium-containing processes and waste streams.
