The galah, also known as the rose-breasted cockatoo or galah cockatoo, is a medium-sized cockatoo native to Australia. It is one of the most common and widespread parrots in the country, found in all mainland states and territories. Galahs are easily recognizable by their distinctive pink and grey plumage, with a pale pink face and breast, grey wings and back, and a light grey crest. They typically measure around 35-40 cm in length and have a wingspan of 75-90 cm.
