Fóliás is a Hungarian adjective meaning “foil-wrapped” or “covered with foil.” It is formed from the noun fólia, meaning foil or film, with the suffix -s, and is used to describe items, materials, or processes that involve foil or foil-like coverings. The term is common in everyday language as well as in technical and commercial contexts.

In packaging and consumer goods, fóliás refers to products wrapped in aluminum or plastic film to preserve freshness, prevent moisture loss, and extend shelf life.
