In essence, if something performs the same functions, has the same inputs and outputs, and engages in the same causal interactions as a human mind, then, according to a funkcionálisanikus perspective, it would be considered functionally equivalent to a human mind, regardless of whether it is made of biological neurons or silicon chips.
