Fullbordan is the enforcement of a legally enforceable claim, meaning that a debtor must fulfill an obligation by paying a debt or complying with a court decision or other enforceable order. In Sweden, fullbordan is carried out by the Enforcement Authority, Kronofogden, which uses a range of tools to recover sums or secure performance under civil law.

Enforcement actions typically begin once an instrument becomes enforceable, such as a court judgment or a payment order. The authority may pursue measures including wage garnishment (löneutmätning), seizure of assets (utmätning), or attachment of bank funds, and, when appropriate, the sale of seized property to satisfy the claim. The aim is to secure payment or ensure compliance while respecting applicable safeguards and debtor rights.

Debtors can challenge enforcement decisions through appeals to the administrative court within a prescribed period. The system also provides exemptions or suspensions in hardship cases and sets limits on what may be seized. Fullbordan procedures operate alongside other civil procedures and consumer protection rules, balancing creditor recovery with debtor protections.

Although most commonly discussed in the Swedish context, similar concepts exist in other Nordic and European jurisdictions under different terms.
