The server then processes this request and sends back a response to the client.

This pattern is ubiquitous. For example, when you type a web address into your browser, your browser (the client) sends a request to a web server. The web server processes this request and sends back the webpage content as a response. Similarly, in many application programming interfaces (APIs), a client application makes a request to an API endpoint, and the API returns data or a status code as a response.
