Fluidtobarrier is a coined term describing the interface between a fluid domain and a barrier layer that controls the transport of species, energy, or charge across the interface. It is used in materials science, chemical engineering, and related fields to discuss how barrier performance emerges from the properties of the barrier and the interacting fluid.
