FlatOut is a series of demolition derby-style racing video games developed by Bugbear Entertainment and published by Empire Interactive and later by Strategy First. The games are known for their over-the-top physics, destructive environments, and ragdoll physics for drivers.

The gameplay typically involves racing in a variety of vehicles, from beat-up sedans to trucks, on a range of tracks that can be significantly damaged or destroyed. Collisions are a central mechanic, with players encouraged to use them to their advantage, often by ramming opponents into obstacles or off the track.
