Faturat is the Albanian term for invoices, documents issued by sellers to request payment for goods or services. They serve as a record of a sale and provide the basis for accounting, payment tracking, and tax reporting. A typical faturë includes: the date of issue and due date, a unique invoice number, the names and addresses of the seller and the buyer, a description of each item or service, quantity and unit price, line totals, any discounts, the applicable tax rate and tax amount, a subtotal, the total amount due, the currency, and payment terms and instructions.
