Eseménytér is a Hungarian term that translates to "event space" or "sample space" in English, most commonly used in the context of probability theory and statistics. It represents the set of all possible outcomes of a random experiment or event. For example, if the experiment is tossing a coin, the eseménytér would be {Heads, Tails}. If the experiment is rolling a standard six-sided die, the eseménytér would be {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}.
The elements within the eseménytér are called elementary events or outcomes. An event itself is a subset
