embrüonaalne
Embrüonaalne refers to a stage in the development of an organism. It describes the period from fertilization of an egg to the formation of a recognizable fetus. This early phase is characterized by rapid cell division, differentiation, and the formation of basic body structures. In humans, the embryonic period typically lasts for the first eight weeks of gestation. During this time, the single-celled zygote undergoes cleavage, forming a blastocyst which then implants in the uterine wall. Following implantation, gastrulation occurs, establishing the three primary germ layers: ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm. These layers will subsequently give rise to all the tissues and organs of the body. Organogenesis, the process of organ formation, is a key feature of the embryonic stage. By the end of the embryonic period, the organism has a distinct, albeit rudimentary, form with developing limbs, facial features, and internal organs. The term "embrüonaalne" emphasizes this formative and foundational period of life before the organism is considered a fetus.
