Ecumenical activities encompass a wide range of practices, including shared prayer services, theological dialogues to clarify differences and identify commonalities, joint social and humanitarian projects, and mutual recognition of sacraments and ministries in some instances. While full organic unity remains a distant goal for many, ecumenicalism aims to foster a spirit of fellowship and mutual respect, recognizing that visible unity is a crucial aspect of the Christian message.
