Drukarz is a person who prints, either as a technician operating printing presses to reproduce text and images, or as a craftsman involved in the production of printed materials. The term denotes a professional in the printing industry as well as, in some contexts, an artist who makes prints.

The noun derives from druk (print) with the agent suffix -arz, and is used in both historical and modern contexts in Polish. In art contexts, drukarz can also refer to a printmaker, an artist who creates prints using techniques such as etching, woodcut, or lithography.

Historically, printing in Poland began in the 15th century with movable type and early presses in major towns such as Kraków and Gdańsk. Printers operated workshops and were organized in craft guilds. They produced religious texts, scholarly works, and, later, newspapers as literacy and demand grew during the modern era.
