deadbandialueet
Deadbandialueet, often referred to as deadbands, are a concept used in control systems and automation to define a range of input values within which no output change occurs. This means that as the input signal fluctuates within the deadband, the actuator or controlled device remains stationary. Once the input signal moves outside of this predefined range, the control system registers a change and initiates a response.
The primary purpose of a deadband is to prevent excessive switching or oscillation in a control system.
Deadbands are commonly found in thermostats, where they prevent the heating or cooling system from cycling
