Enforcement of datainsäädäntö in Finland is primarily the responsibility of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutettu). The Ombudsman's office oversees compliance with data protection laws, handles complaints, and can impose sanctions for violations. The goal of datainsäädäntö is to build trust in the digital environment by ensuring that personal data is handled responsibly and securely.
