The conuli, commonly known as cone snails, are a diverse group of predatory marine gastropod mollusks belonging to the family Conidae. These snails are renowned for their distinctive, often brightly colored shells, which vary widely in shape, size, and pattern depending on the species. Cone snails inhabit tropical and subtropical coastal waters, primarily in the Indo-Pacific region, though some species are found in the Atlantic and Caribbean.

Cone snails are notable for their venomous harpoons, known as radular teeth, which they use to immobilize prey such as fish, worms, and other mollusks. These teeth are modified into a harpoon-like structure, capable of delivering a rapid, paralyzing sting.
