chiffchaff
The chiffchaff is a small, leaf-green bird belonging to the Old World warbler family. Its scientific name is Phylloscopus collybita. It is a common and widespread species found across temperate Eurasia and North Africa. Chiffchaffs are migratory, with northern populations traveling south for the winter. They are easily recognized by their distinctive song, a repeated two-note whistle, often described as "chiff-chaff," from which the bird gets its name. Their call is a descending 'hoo-hoo'.
These birds typically inhabit woodlands, parks, and gardens, preferring areas with dense undergrowth. They are insectivores,
