Chaperonagea is a genus of moths in the family Pterophoridae. The species within this genus are commonly known as plum moths or plume moths. They are found in disparate locations across the world, including North Africa and Europe as well as the eastern regions of Asia.

One species, plume moth, Plume Moth (Chaperona plumata), can be found in the dry lowlands of tropical and subtropical zones. The plumata species is characterized by its plum-colored wings. These moths are frugivorous, feeding on various fruit types.
