Centroidbestämning is a Swedish term that translates to "centroid determination" or "finding the centroid." In geometry and physics, the centroid is the geometric center of a shape. For a two-dimensional shape, it's the average position of all the points within that shape. Imagine a shape cut out of a uniform material; the centroid is the point where the shape would balance perfectly if supported at that single point.

The calculation of a centroid depends on the shape. For simple, symmetrical shapes like triangles, squares, and circles, the centroid often coincides with obvious points of symmetry.
