Bazmis, also known as bazm or majlis, is a traditional Persian gathering that has been a significant part of Iranian culture for centuries. The term "bazm" is derived from the Persian word "bazm" which means "assembly" or "gathering". These gatherings are typically social events where people come together to enjoy each other's company, engage in intellectual discussions, and appreciate various forms of art such as poetry, music, and calligraphy.
