azimutális

Azimutális is an adjective used in Hungarian to describe things relating to azimuth, the angle measured on a reference plane between a reference direction and the projection of a line to a point. The term originates from azimuth, a concept widely used in navigation, astronomy, and cartography to denote direction and bearing.

In navigation and astronomy, azimuth is a horizontal angular coordinate.
